Christian Merrick brings more than 25 years of commercial real estate accounting experience, providing strategic financial leadership across office, retail, industrial, and development properties. Known for his analytical expertise, attention to detail, and collaborative approach, Christian plays a critical role in ensuring clients and stakeholders receive accurate, timely, and actionable financial information.
At ColeTaylor, Christian works closely with Property Management, Asset Management, Project Development teams, and ownership groups to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making. His deep understanding of real estate accounting enables him to deliver insights that help maximize asset performance and support long-term investment objectives.
Throughout his career, he has developed expertise across multiple accounting and budgeting platforms, including Yardi, MRI, JD Edwards, Realogic, and Kardin, allowing him to adapt systems and processes to meet the unique needs of each client and asset. A trusted financial partner to both property teams and ownership groups, Christian combines technical expertise with a commitment to accuracy, transparency, and exceptional service.

Led the Denver accounting team for a large developer during a period of rapid growth, expanding portfolio oversight from 1 million square feet across three properties to more than 4 million square feet across eleven properties.
Oversaw accounting operations for several of Denver's premier Class A office properties, including 1515 Wynkoop, 1601 Wewatta, and 1144 Fifteenth.
